IPL 2025: Points table, most runs, most wickets after match 44, KKR vs PBKS

Rain washed out the 44th match of IPL 2025 between KKR and PBKS.
Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) hosted Punjab Kings (PBKS) in 44th match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 on Saturday, April 26. The encounter took place at the Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata. KKR had a huge target of 202 runs in the match. However, the match ended without result as it was affected by rain in the second innings.
Earlier in the game, PBKS skipper Shreyas Iyer won the toss and opted to bat first. The visitors piled up a mammoth total of 201/4 in the first innings. Openers Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh slammed amazing half-centuries, scoring 69 runs and 83 runs respectively. Skipper Iyer also added an unbeaten 25 runs. During the chase, sandstorm and rain arrived after the first over, where KKR were stranded at 7/0. Later as the rain intensified, the match was called off.
IPL 2025: Updated points table

Since the match ended with no result, both sides have been awarded one point each. After the KKR vs PBKS, match No. 44 of IPL 2025, KKR take the seventh spot in the updated points table. They have seven points and Net Run Rate (NRR) of +0.212. On the other hand, PBKS have jumped to the fourth spot with 11 points and NRR of +0.177.
Gujarat Titans (GT) take the top spot with 12 points. They are followed by Delhi Capitals (DC) in the second spot with an equal number of points. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are positioned in the third spot with 10 points. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) languish at bottom of the table with just four points.
IPL 2025: Most runs (Orange Cap)
The Orange Cap leaderboard remains the same after the match. Notably, no KKR or PBKS batters are among the top five run-scorers in IPL 2025 as of now. Sai Sudharsan and Virat Kohli take the first and second spots respectively. Nicholas Pooran and Suryakumar Yadav stay in the third and fourth spots. Jos Butter and Yashavi Jaiswal are next in the fifth and sixth positions with an equal 356 runs.

As the KKR vs PBKS match was washed out due to rain, there were no major changes seen in the list of top five wicket-takers this season. GT’s Prasidh Krishna still leads the Purple Cap leaderboard with 16 scalps to his name. RCB’s Josh Hazlewood follows next with same number of wickets.
CSK’s Noor Ahmad, SRH’s Harshal Patel and DC’s Kuldeep Yadav follow next with 14, 13 and 12 wickets respectively.
