IPL 2025: Points table, most runs, most wickets after match 57, KKR vs CSK

CSK defeated KKR by two wickets in match No. 57 of IPL 2025.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) hosted Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the match No. 57 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The match took place at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. CSK had a target of 180 runs in the match.

Dewald Brevis scored a half-century for the side while Shivam Dube scored 45 runs. MS Dhoni helped the Super Kings to get the winning runs in the final over with his unbeaten 17 runs. CSK won the match by two wickets in a nail-biting clash.

Earlier, KKR skipper Ajinkya Rahane won the toss and opted to bat first. Ajinkya Rahane (48), Manish Pandey (36), and Andre Russell (38) slammed the decent knocks to power the scoreboard to 179/6. Noor Ahmad captured a four-wicket haul for the Super Kings.

IPL 2025: Updated points table

After the match No. 57 of IPL 2025, CSK remains at the tenth spot in the points table. They have six points and a Net Run Rate (NRR) of -0.992. On the other hand, KKR takes the sixth position after a defeat in the match. They own 13 points and an NRR of +0.362. Super Kings are eliminated from the playoffs race.

Gujarat Titans (GT) take the top spot in the IPL 2025 points table with 16 points. Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) follow them in the second place with an equal number of points. Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Mumbai Indians (MI) grab the third and fourth positions, respectively.

IPL 2025: Most runs (Orange Cap)

There are no changes to the Orange Cap leaderboard following the KKR vs CSK clash of IPL 2025. No CSK or KKR batters are among the top five highest run-getters in the tournament. Suryakumar Yadav (510) and Sai Sudarshan (509) are in the top two positions. Shubman Gill (508) and Virat Kohli (505) retain the third and fourth spots on the list. Jos Buttler captures the fifth spot with 500 runs.

KKR spinner Varun Chakravarthy, who took two wickets, now grabs the fifth place with 17 scalps. Prasidh Krishna tops the list with an equal 20 wickets to Ahmad. Josh Hazlewood and Trent Boult take the third and fourth spots with 18 wickets each.
