IPL 2025: Points table, most runs, most wickets after match 58, RCB vs KKR

The RCB vs KKR, match 58 of IPL 2025 was washed out due to rain.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) were scheduled to clash in the 58th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 on Saturday, May 17. The first game after IPL 2025 resumption was scheduled to be played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru.
However, the RCB vs KKR match was affected by continuous rain in Bengaluru. Eventually, the match was called off ahead of the toss and without a single ball being bowled. The match ended with no result and both teams were allotted one point each.
Unfortunately, it was a must-win game for KKR to stay alive in the race for playoffs. Since the match ended with no result, they have been eliminated from the playoffs race.
IPL 2025: Updated points table

After the match No. 58 of IPL 2025, RCB have jumped to the top spot in the points table. They have 17 points and Net Run Rate (NRR) of +0.482. On the other hand, KKR occupy the sixth position. They have 12 points and NRR of +0.193. KKR cannot qualify for playoffs now.
Gujarat Titans (GT ) are placed in the second spot with 16 points. Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Mumbai Indians (MI) capture the third and fourth places respectively. While PBKS have 15 points, MI have 14 points.
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Rajasthan Royals (RR), and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) languish at the last three spots in the points table. They are the other three teams that are eliminated from the playoffs race.
IPL 2025: Most runs (Orange Cap)
Since the RCB vs KKR match was washed out due to rain, there are no changes in the Orange Cap leaderboard. MI’s Suryakumar Yadav enjoys the top spot with 510 runs. GT players Sai Sudharsan (509) and Shubman Gill (508) follow in the second and third places respectively. RCB opener Virat Kohli is next on the list with 505 runs. Jos Buttler follows him in the fifth spot with 500 runs.

GT pacer Prasidh Krishan continues to steal the top spot in Purple Cap leaderboard with 20 wickets. CSK spinner Noor Ahmad follows him in the second spot with an equal number of wickets. Josh Hazlewood and Trent Boult clinch the third and fourth spots respectively with 18 wickets each. KKR spinner Varun Chakravathy captures the fifth spot with 17 wickets.
