IPL 2025: Points table, most runs, most wickets after match 59, RR vs PBKS

PBKS defeated RR by 10 runs in the 59th match of IPL 2025.
Rajasthan Royals (RR) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) locked horns in the 59th match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 on Sunday, May 18. The encounter took place at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. RR had a target of 220 runs in the match.
However, RR lost the match by 10 runs in the end. During the chase, opener Yashasvi Jaiswal slammed a half-century for the team. He also made a brilliant opening stand of 76 runs with Vaibhav Suryavanshi. Dhruv Jurel also slammed a half-century.
Earlier in the first innings, PBKS skipper Shreyas Iyer won the toss and opted to bat first. PBKS lost their top three batters cheaply. However, Nehal Wadhera slammed 70 runs while Shashank Singh added an unbeaten 59 runs to guide the visitors to a powerful total of 219/5.
IPL 2025: Updated points table

After the 59th match of IPL 2025, PBKS have jumped to the second spot in the points table. They have 17 points and Net Run Rate (NNR) of +0.389. On the other hand, RR occupy the ninth position in the points table after a defeat in the match. They have six points and NNR of -0.701.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Gujarat Titans (GT) grab the first and third spots respectively in the updated team standings. Mumbai Indians (MI) and Delhi Capitals (DC) take the fourth and fifth positions. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) languish at the last spot in the points table with six points.
IPL 2025: Most runs (Orange Cap)
There is only one change in the Orange Cap leaderboard after the 59th match of IPL 2025. RR opener Yashasvi Jaiswal has moved to the peak position with 523 runs. He scored 50 runs in the match. Suryakumar Yadav (510) and Sai Sudharsan (509) grab the second and third spots respectively. Shubman Gill (508) and Virat Kohli (505) clinch the fourth and fifth positions.

There is no change in the list of top five highest wicket-takers of the tournament after the RR vs PBKS match. Prasidh Krishna continues to take the top spot in the Purple Cap leaderboard with 20 wickets, followed by Noor Ahmed in the second spot with an equal number of wickets. Josh Hazlewood and Trent Boult are next on the list with 18 wickets each. Varun Chakravarthy grabs the fifth spot with 17 wickets. There are no RR or PBKS bowlers among the top five highest wicket-takers in IPL 2025.
