IPL 2025: Points table, most runs, most wickets after match 67, GT vs CSK

CSK defeated GT by 83 runs in the match 67 of IPL 2025.
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Gujarat Titans (GT) locked horns in the 67th match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 on Sunday, May 25. The match took place at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
GT had a gigantic target of 231 runs in the match. Opener Sai Sudharsan scored a decent knock of 41 runs. However, they lost crucial batters like Shubman Gill, Jos Buttler, and Sherfane Rutherford cheaply. CSK bowlers showed a fabulous teamwork to dismantle GT batters.
Earlier, CSK skipper MS Dhoni won the toss and opted to bat first. Openers Ayush Mhatre (34) and Devon Conway (52) gave a good start to the batting. Later, Urvil Patel (37) and Dewald Brewis (57) powered CSK to a mammoth total of 230/5.
IPL 2025: Updated points table

After the match No. 67 of IPL 2025, CSK continue to remain at the bottom of the points table. They have eight points and a Net Run Rate (NRR) of -0.647. On the other hand, GT occupy the top spot despite a defeat in the match. They have 18 points and a NRR of +0.254.
Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) share the second and third position respectively with 17 points each. Mumbai Indians (MI) hold the fourth spot with 16 points.
IPL 2025: Most runs (Orange Cap)
There are no changes in the Orange Cap leaderboard following GT vs CSK clash. Sai Sudharsan and Shubman Gill, who scored 41 runs and 13 runs respectively in the match, continue to hold the top two spots. Suryakumar Yadav (583) and Mitchell Marsh (560) are next on the list. Yashasvi Jaiswal holds the fifth spot with 559 runs.

CSK spinner Noor Ahmad, who picked three wickets in the clash, has moved to the top spot in Purple Cap leaderboard. He has 24 wickets in his kitty and owns the purple cap. GT pacer Prasidh Krishna picked two wickets in the match and has increased his tally to 23 wickets. He holds the second spot.
Trent Boult, Josh Hazlewood, and Varun Chakravarthy are the next three members in the list of top five highest wicket-takers in IPL 2025.
