IPL 2025: Points table, most runs, most wickets after match 12, MI vs KKR

MI defeated KKR by eight wickets in the 12th match of IPL 2025.
On Monday, March 31, Mumbai Indians (MI) defeated Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) by eight wickets in the 12th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025.
After being asked to bat first, KKR struggled to find momentum and were undone by debutant Ashwani Kumar, who starred with figures of 4/24. The KKR batting lineup saw wickets falling at regular intervals. Angkrish Raghuvanshi was the lone bright spot in an otherwise sorry scorecard, scoring 26 off 16 balls.
Ramandeep Singh provided some late fireworks to push KKR’s total to 116. Rinku Singh (17) and Manish Pandey (19) were the only other batters to reach double digits.
In reply, Mumbai always had control of the chase. Openers Rohit Sharma and Ryan Rickelton added 46 runs for the first wicket to settle the nerves. After Rohit’s dismissal, Will Jacks joined in and built another 45-run stand for the second wicket, ending any hopes of a KKR comeback.
Rickelton top-scored for MI with 62 runs off 41 balls, including four fours and five sixes. The eight-wicket win marked MI’s first victory of IPL 2025.
