IPL 2025: Points table, most runs, most wickets after match 20, SRH vs GT

GT defeated SRH by seven wickets in match 20 of IPL 2025.

Gujarat Titans (GT) crushed Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by seven wickets in match No. 20 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. GT skipper Shubman Gill (61) slammed a stunning half-century to drive his team to victory while chasing a target of 153 runs. Sherfane Rutherford (35* off 16) and Washington Sundar (49 off 29) also supported him well with their quick-fire knocks.

SRH bowlers completely failed to dominate GT batters at their own backyard, Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad. Earlier, GT won the toss and opted to bowl first. Pacer Mohammed Siraj dismantled the opposition batters with his fabulous four-wicket haul. Prasidh Krishna and Sai Kishore captured two wickets each. For SRH, none of the batters managed to score a fifty.

Explosive openers Abhishek Sharma (18) and Travis Head (8) failed to fire once again. One-down Ishan Kishan (17) also failed to impress with the bat. Nitish Reddy (31) and Heinrich Klaasen (27) added some runs in the middle overs as SRH piled up 152/8 till the final delivery.

IPL 2025: Updated points table

After losing match No. 20 of IPL 2025 against GT, SRH now find themselves at bottom of the points table with two points and Net Run Rate (NRR) of -1.629. They have lost all four games after winning their first match of the season. On the other hand, GT have moved to the second spot with three wins and one defeat across four matches and NRR of +1.031.

Delhi Capitals (DC) continue to lead at the top spot with three wins in three encounters. Royal Challengers Bngaluru (RCB) take the third spot with four points, followed by Punjab Kings (PBKS) with four points on the fourth spot.

IPL 2025: Most runs (Orange Cap)

Sadly, GT batter Jos Buttler got out for a duck in the match and could not move up in the Orange Cap leaderboard. The England stalwart takes the fifth spot in the updated list. GT opener Sai Sudharsan, who got out for five runs against SRH, continues to hold the second spot with 191 runs. Nicholas Pooran rules the list of top run-scorers in IPL 2025 with 201 runs. LSG opener Mitchell Marsh and Mumbai Indians’ star Suryakumar Yadav are the other two batters among the top five spots.

With his four wickets in the match, GT pacer Siraj has moved to the third spot in the Purple Cap leaderboard. The right-arm pacer now has nine wickets from four games. CSK’s Noor Ahmad, with 10 scalps in his kitty, continues to lead the list.
