IPL 2025: Points table, most runs, most wickets after match 27, SRH vs PBKS

SRH defeated PBKS by eight wickets in match 27 of IPL 2025.
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) defeated Punjab Kings (PBKS) by eight wickets in the match No. 27 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. SRH scripted history as they chased down a gigantic total of 246 runs in the match, which is the second highest successful run-chase in the history of IPL. Their innings was led by opener Abhishek Sharma, who smashed 141 off 55 deliveries. Travis Head (66 off 37), Heinrich Klaasen (21 off 14) also chipped in with their cameos.
Earlier in the match, PBKS piled up 245/6 after winning the toss and electing to bat first. PBKS skipper Shreyas Iyer slammed a stunning knock of 82 runs for the side. Priyansh Arya (36) and Prabhsimran Singh (42) also made notable contributions with the bat. However, all of their knocks went in vain as SRH chased down the target quite comfortably with nine balls to spare.
IPL 2025: Updated points table

After the victory against PBKS, SRH have moved to eighth spot in the IPL 2025 points table. They have four points and Net Run Rate (NRR) of -1.245. SRH have won two games and lost four matches out of six so far.
On the other hand, after losing the game, PBKS have dropped down to sixth spot in the points table with six points and NRR of +0.065. Delhi Capitals (DC) continue to top the points table with eight points. Gujarat Titans (GT) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) grab the second and third spots respectively with same number of points.
IPL 2025: Most runs (Orange Cap)
Interestingly, there are no SRH batters in the list of top five highest run-getters in IPL 2025 as of now. PBKS skipper Shreyas Iyer, who slammed a half-century in the match, now holds the fourth spot in the Orange Cap leaderboard. Nicholas Pooran continues to lead the list, followed by Sai Sudharsan in the second spot. Mitchell Marsh and Jos Buttler are the other two batters among the top five highest run-scorers in the tournament.

Notably, there are no PBKS or SRH bowlers in the list of top five highest wicket-takers after the 27th match of IPL 2025. CSK spinner Noor Ahmad takes the top spot in Purple Cap leaderboard with 12 wickets. LSG pacer Shardul Thakur follows him in the second spot with 11 wickets. The next three places are held by GT bowlers Prasidh Krishna, Sai Kishore, and Mohammed Siraj.
