IPL 2025: Points table, most runs, most wickets after match 30, LSG vs CSK

CSK crushed LSG by five wickets in the match 30 of IPL 2025.
Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) lost to Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by five wickets in the match No. 30 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. Chasing a 167-run target for victory, CSK openers Shaik Rasheed and Rachin Ravindra gave a wonderful start to batting with their opening stand of 52 runs. Later, MS Dhoni (26*) and Shivam Dube (43*) helped the side to get the winning runs with their quickfire knocks. Notably, CSK registered their second victory of the season.
Earlier, CSK skipper Dhoni won the toss and chose to bowl first. LSG lost opener Aiden Markram cheaply for six runs in the first innings. His opening partner Mitchell Marsh added 30 runs. In-form Nicholas Pooran also failed to go big this time, losing his wicket for eight runs.
However, skipper Rishabh Pant (63) came to the team’s rescue and shattered a half-century to drive the scoreboard to a decent total of 166/7. Ayush Badoni and Adbul Samad added 22 runs and 20 runs respectively towards the end. For CSK, Ravindra Jadeja and Matheesha Pathirana clinched two wickets each. Khaleel Ahmed and Anshul Kamboj picked one scalp each.
IPL 2025: Updated points table

Despite defeating LSG in the match, CSK continue to take the last spot in IPL 2025 points table. They now have four points and Net Run Rate (NRR) of -1.276. On the other hand, LSG take the fourth position after the defeat against CSK. They have eight points and NRR of +0.086.
Gujarat Titans (GT) take the top position in the updated team standings with eight points. Delhi Capitals (DC) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) grab the second and third positions respectively with eight points each.
IPL 2025: Most runs (Orange Cap)
LSG batter Nicholas Pooran got out for eight runs in the match, however, he continues to take the top spot in Orange Cap Leaderboard. His teammate Mitchell Marsh, who hit 30 runs in the match, takes the third spot. GT opener Sai Sudharsan grabs the second spot in the list of highest run-scorers in IPL 2025.
Shreyas Iyer and Virat Kohli wrap the list of top five highest run-scorers this season. Notably, there are no CSK batters among the top five highest run-scorers in the tournament as of now.

3. Mitchell Marsh (LSG) – 295 runs

IPL 2025: Most wickets (Purple Cap)
CSK spinner Noor Ahmad continues to lead the Purple Cap leaderboard with 12 scalps even after going wicketless in the clash. His teammate Khaleel Ahmed took one wicket in the encounter and has jumped to the second spot in the Purple Cap Leaderboard.
LSG pacer Shardul Thakur went wicketless in the game, however, he takes the third spot in the updated list. Kuldeep Yadav and Prasidh Krishna wrap up the list of top five highest wicket-takers in IPL 2025.
