IPL 2025: Points table, most runs, most wickets after match 32, DC vs RR

DC won the Super Over encounter against RR in match No. 32 of IPL 2025.
Delhi Capitals (DC) hosted Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium to face off in the 32nd match of the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 on April 16. The match was another close one, with batters from both sides doing well, despite no big scores.
RR captain Sanju Samson won the toss and chose to bowl first. Jake Fraser-McGurk and Karun Nair were dismissed for cheap. Abishek Poral top-scored for the hosts with 49, with five fours and one six. However, DC’s total was buoyed by 38 from KL Rahul and then Tristan Stubbs and Axar Patel making 34 each in the death overs.
DC put 188/5 in 20 overs on the board. For RR, Jofra Archer took 2/32.
In response, Yashasvi Jaiswal struck his second straight half-century and added 61 runs with Sanju Samson, who made 31 runs before retiring hurt. Jaiswal made 51 runs with three fours and four sixes. Nitish Rana also stroked 51 runs with six fours and two sixes to his name.
It all came down to Shimron Hetmyer (15*) and Dhruv Jurel (26) being able to tie the game, as RR made 188/4 in 20 overs.
The match went to a Super Over, with RR batting first. RR made 11 runs, losing two wickets via run-outs, and played only five balls. Needing 11 runs to win, KL Rahul hit one boundary off Sandeep Sharma, and then Tristan Stubbs hammered a six to win the super over for DC and earn two important points.
IPL 2025: Updated points table

Thanks to the amazing super over win, DC reached the No. 1 spot in the IPL 2025 points table. They now have five wins from six games and 10 points to their name and Net Run Rate (NRR) of +0.744. RR moved to 8th spot with four points from seven games and NRR of -0.714. They exchanged spots with MI, who moved one spot up.
Gujarat Titans moved to the second spot with eight points from six games, and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) remain at the third spot with eight points from six games.
IPL 2025: Most Runs (Orange Cap)
The top five run-makers’ list for IPL 2025 remained the same after match No. 32 between DC and RR, with Nicholas Pooran leading the pack with 357 runs. Sai Sudharsan is at the second spot with 329 runs, and Mitchell Marsh is at the third spot with 295 runs.
Shreyas Iyer and Virat Kohli are at the 4th and 5th spots respectively, while KL Rahul of the Delhi Capitals (DC) is at the 7th place with 238 runs in 5 matches, as he stroked 38 runs in this match.

IPL 2025: Most wickets (Purple Cap)
Kuldeep Yadav picked up one wicket in the match and moved to the second spot with 11 wickets to his name. Noor Ahmad of CSK remains the No. 1 ranked bowler on the list of most wickets in the IPL 2025.
The rest of the list remains the same, with Khaleel Ahmed and Shardul Thakur, both with 11 wickets to their name, moving one spot down. This is because Kuldeep has taken 11 wickets in six games, while they took seven games to take the same number of wickets.
