IPL 2025: Points table, most runs, most wickets after match 37, PBKS vs RCB

RCB crushed PBKS by seven wickets in the 37th match of IPL 2025.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) faced each other in Match No. 37 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 on Saturday, April 20. RCB won the match by seven wickets. This match was played at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium, Chandigarh. Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal scored half-centuries for RCB during the chase.
Earlier, RCB won the toss and opted to bowl first in the match. In the first innings, Punjab Kings (PBKS) posted 157/6 on the scoreboard as none of their batsmen could perform well.
Openers Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh scored 22 and 33 runs respectively. Josh Inglis, Shashank Singh, and Marco Jansen also added crucial runs on the board. Krunal Pandya and Suyash Sharma took two wickets each for RCB. Romario Shepheard got one scalp.
IPL 2025: Updated points table

After the match No.37 of IPL 2025, RCB takes the third spot in the points table. They have 10 points and a Net Run Rate (NRR) of +0.472. On the other hand, PBKS now grabs the fourth position in the points table. They have 10 points and an NRR of +0.177.
Gujarat Titans (GT) take the top spot with 10 points. Delhi Capitals (DC) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) hold the second and fifth positions, respectively, with 10 points each. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) take the last two spots in the updated team standings.
IPL 2025: Most runs (Orange Cap)
Virat Kohli has moved to the third spot in the Orange Cap Leaderboard after his wonderful half-century in the match. There are no PBKS players among the top five highest run-scorers in IPL 2025. LSG batter Nicholas Pooran continues to take the top spot, followed by GT opener Sai Sudharsan in the second spot. Jos Buttler and Yashasvi Jaiswal are other members on the list.

IPL 2025: Most wickets (Purple Cap)
RCB pacer Josh Hazlewood went wicketless in the match but is part of the Orange Cap Leaderboard at fourth spot. GT pacer Prasidh Krishna continues to lead the list of most wicket-takers in IPL 2025 with 14 wickets. Kuldeep Yadav, Noor Ahmad, and Shardul Thakur, who have 12 wickets each, occupy the list of the top five highest wicket-takers this season.
