IPL 2025 prize money: How much will winners and runners-up earn after the final?

RCB and PBKS are locking horns in the IPL 2025 final at the Narendra Modi International Cricket Stadium.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) are locking horns in the final of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The venue of the RCB vs PBKS, IPL 2025 final is the Narendra Modi International Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. Rajat Patidar and Shreyas Iyer are the skippers of RCB and PBKS respectively in the match.
PBKS skipper Iyer won the toss and opted to bowl first in the match. Both teams retained their playing XI from their respective last matches. RCB crushed PBKS in Qualifier 1 to reach the final. Later, PBKS outplayed Mumbai Indians (MI) in Qualifier 2 to seal a place in the final.
Notably, both the teams have managed to reach the finals in the past, but haven’t laid their hands on the trophy yet. The Punjab-based franchise lost the final in the 2014 season against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), while RCB lost the IPL finals on three occasions in 2009, 2011, and 2016.
How much will winners and runners-up earn after IPL 2025 final?
Whoever wins tonight, will lift their first-ever IPL trophy. The winners of IPL 2025 will also earn a cash prize of INR 20 crores. The runners-up will get a cash reward of INR 12.50 crores. Moreover, all the teams that qualified for the playoffs will also get a cash reward.
Gujarat Titans (GT), who lost the Eliminator match, will get INR 6.5 crores. On the other hand, MI, who lost the Qualifier 2 to PBKS, will get INR 7 crores. The Orange Cap and Purple Cap winners will get INR 10 lakhs each.
Meanwhile, IPL 2025 will witness a new team winning the IPL trophy. So far, seven IPL teams have grabbed the tag of champions in the IPL. Interestingly, RCB and PBKS have won equal games in the head-to-head contest in the tournament history.
Out of 36 clashes against each others, both have won 18 games each. In the ongoing IPL 2025, both teams locked horns in three games prior to the final. RCB won two matches while PBKS won one match.
