Captain Pat Cummins has been retained by SRH for IPL 2025.

The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) might have had the least of the worries among the 10 franchises to decide on their retentions for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The major bone of contention for them would have been the order of their retained players.

Captain Pat Cummins, who they had bought for INR 20.5 crores at the IPL 2024 auction, proved his worth as he led them to their first IPL final since 2018, though they lost it to Kolkata Knight Riders.

This success was possible on the back of explosive batting performances from Travis Head, Abhishek Sharma, and Heinrich Klaasen. All these four star players have been retained, and so has all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy.

The Kavya Maran-owned franchise has placed Heinrich Klaasen in the top bracket and his reported retention price is a whopping INR 23 crores.

In IPL 2025, the Cummins-led team will be aiming to go one step further and clinch their second IPL title.
