Gujarat Titans have retained 20 players in their squad ahead of IPL 2026 auction.

Gujarat Titans (GT) have announced their list of retained and released players ahead of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 auction. On November 15 (Saturday), all 10 IPL teams submitted the names of retained players, giving a clear picture of what they need to do in the auction.

GT didn’t do much chopping and changing as they retained 20 players ahead of IPL 2026 auction. Shubman Gill, Sai Sudharsan, and Jos Buttler are a few key batters retained by the franchise, while Rashid Khan, Mohammed Siraj and Kagiso Rabada are prominent bowlers.

The Shubman Gill-led side has also released five players from their squad, out of which, Dasun Shanaka is the most popular name. Also, they traded Sherfane Rutherford to Mumbai Indians (MI).

The Shubman Gill-led side gave an impressive performance last season, reaching the playoffs yet again. After winning nine games and losing five matches out of 14 in the league stage, GT finished at the third spot. However, IPL 2022 champions lost the Eliminator match against Mumbai Indians (MI), which ended their journey in the tournament.

The Titans won the IPL in their debut season in 2022. Over the last four editions, they have been a dominating side in the tournament and are known for their supremacy at their home ground Narendra Modi International Cricket Stadium in Ahmedabad. In IPL 2026, the Titans will look forward to winning their second trophy of the tournament.
