Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 has reached its climax as we have got the four teams for the playoffs. After a gruelling hard work of two months, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), Gujarat Titans (GT), Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), and Rajasthan Royals (RR) are the fourth teams that have qualified for IPL 2026 playoffs.
RCB dominated right from the start and continued their winning momentum till the end of the league stage. They were the first team to reach the playoffs and finished at the top spot in the points table with 18 points.
Gujarat Titans struggled to win games at the start but later emerged as a strong side with a lethal bowling unit. SRH banked upon their aggressive batters and bagged some amazing victories to finish in the third spot in the points table.
Rajasthan Royals became the fourth team to make it to the playoffs after winning their last game of the league stage against the Mumbai Indians.
RCB and GT to clash in Qualifier 1, SRH and RR to collide in Eliminator
In the playoffs, table-toppers, RCB and GT, will lock horns in the Qualifier 1 match and the winner will be the first finalist of IPL 2026. The encounter will take place on Tuesday, May 26, at Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala.
SRH and RR will collide in the Eliminator on May 27 at Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in New Chandigarh. The winner of the Eliminator and the loser of Qualifier 1 will clash in Qualifier 2. It will also take place in New Chandigarh on May 29.
