Abhishek Sharma slammed 141 off 55 deliveries in SRH vs PBKS clash of IPL 2025.
Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) batsman Abhishek Sharma slammed a sensational century in the 27th match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The SRH opener slammed a 141-run knock in the clash against Punjab Kings (PBKS) to stun cricket fans all over the country.
During his innings, Sharma slammed 14 boundaries and 10 sixes off 55 deliveries, scoring at a stunning strike rate of 256.36. The left-handed batsman also helped his team chase down an impossible target in the match. Notably, SRH had to chase down a gigantic target of 246 runs in the game.
Sharma also set up a partnership of 171 runs with Travis Head for the first wicket. The Aussie batter got out for 66 runs in the match. Notably, it is the second-highest successful run-chase ever by a team in the IPL history. The game took place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

Following his sensational century, Sharma rightfully won Player of the Match award. The young opener also achieved many milestones during the innings. Earlier in the first innings, PBKS skipper Shreyas Iyer helped his side to score 245/6 with his half-century. The visitors won the toss and opted to bat first in the match. Although PBKS showed a stunning batting show, they could not come up with a good show with the ball.
Meanwhile, Sharma now has 192 runs across six games in IPL 2025 in six games. He is the second-highest run-scorer for his team after Head. The SRH batter helped his side win their second game of the tournament. Earlier, SRH had lost four games out of five and were placed at the last spot of the points table. Now, they account for two victories across six matches.
