Tim David slammed an unbeaten half-century in match 34 of IPL 2025.

During the 34th match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Punjab Kings (PBKS), Tim David slammed a hat-trick of sixes to thrill the spectators at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The right-handed batsman also slammed a half-century in the match.

PBKS skipper Shreyas Iyer won the toss and chose to bowl first against hosts RCB. The visitors did an outstanding job in bowling at the start, dismissing RCB openers Phil Salt and Virat Kohli for single digits. Later, Liam Livingstone and Jitesh Sharma also lost their wickets cheaply.

However, No.7 batter David slammed a marvellous unbeaten half-century to help RCB get decent runs on the board. Notably, the match was reduced to 14 overs per side after rain affected the game at the start.

While RCB lost their top and middle-order batters cheaply, David slammed an unbeaten knock of 50 runs off 26 deliveries to thrill the spectators at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. During his knock, the right-handed batter hammered five fours and three sixes. He smashed three consecutive sixes in the last over of the innings off Harpreet Brar to provide an awesome finish to RCB’s batting. Have a look at the video below.

Harpreet Brar picked up two wickets in the match, however, he was helpless against David’s attack in the final over. Yuzvendra Chahal, Arshdeep Singh, and Marco Jansen scalped two wickets each for PBKS. Xavier Bartlett clinched one wicket.

PBKS defeated RCB by five wickets in the rain-marred encounter.
