Ishan Kishan got an opportunity to bowl one over in the county cricket.
Indian Cricket Team wicke-keeper batter Ishan Kishan is having a great time in County Cricket, playing for Nottinghamshire. The keeper-batter has made a massive impression, and his performances surely would’ve gone under the notice of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
While the Indian team is putting in hard yards against the England Cricket Team, some players have signed a deal with English County Cricket teams and are making an impression there. One among them is Ishan Kishan, who has set the stage on fire in the tournament with his brilliant batting skills.
Ishan Kishan has slammed two back-to-back fifties for Nottinghamshire in the County Championship Division 1. He has shown great promise with the bat and has surely put his case forward to make his comeback in the national team across the formats.
While his performances with the bat have been sensational, Ishan Kishan also stole the limelight with his bowling. The keeper-batter got an opportunity to bowl, and he exhibited his skills, bowling both off-spin and leg-spin within the span of a single over.
What caught the attention of many was that he replicated the action of former Indian player Harbhajan Singh. He imitated that perfectly and followed that up with a couple of conventional off-spinners before switching to around the wicket.
Ishan Kishan was seen bowling leg-spin and looked in decent touch too. The last ball of the over was away from the off-stump, but thankfully, the umpire didn’t give that wide. He gave away just one run in his over, which was last in the day.
