Italy Schedule for ICC T20 World Cup 2026, Fixtures, Dates, Venues

Italy will face Bangladesh in their opening game of ICC T20 World Cup 2026.
The Men’s ICC T20 World Cup 2026 is the event that everyone is waiting for. On Tuesday, 25th November, the complete schedule of the tournament was released by the International Cricket Council (ICC). The tournament will feature 20 teams across the world, including the reigning champions, India.
These sides will feature in 55 matches between February 7 and March 8. All these games will be played across eight different venues in India and Sri Lanka. India and Pakistan are drafted in the same group, and four groups are made, featuring five teams each.
The Super Eight round will feature the top two sides from all four groups, who will be put in two groups of four teams. It will be followed by the semi-finals and the finals. Out of 20 teams, Italy are the only team that will be making their first appearance.
They finished the ICC T20 World Cup Europe Regional Qualifiers 2025 as runners-up, which helped them to book a ticket for this lucrative event. They have a chance to upset big teams. As they are placed in Group C, and all other four teams are ranked higher than them in the T20I rankings.

Apart from Italy, the other four teams drafted in Group C are former champions England and the West Indies, along with Bangladesh and Nepal. All these four teams are very experienced in this format, and it will be a tough and exciting path for Italy in the tournament.
In their group, they will face Bangladesh on February 9 in Kolkata to start their campaign. Their second game will be against Nepal on February 12 in Mumbai. They will be back in Kolkata for their third match on February 16 against England. Their final group game is on February 19 against West Indies.

2. Italy vs Nepal, Wankhede Stadium, February 12, Mumbai at 3 PM IST

4. Italy vs West Indies, Eden Gardens, February 19, Kolkata at 11 AM IST
