Jamie Smith’s knock helped England to make a comeback in the encounter. Notably, England lost three of their batters for ducks in the first innings as Ben Stokes, Ben Duckett, and Ollie Pope failed to score any runs. Joe Root (22) and Zak Crawley (19) also failed to go big with the bat.
