Jofra Archer has played 27 Big Bash League matches till now.
England speedster Jofra Archer is among the 432 male cricketers who have nominated themselves for the upcoming edition of the Big Bash League (BBL) 2024-25 player draft. The BBL player draft will be held on September 1.
Archer has made himself available for the full regular season of the BBL 2024-25 but won’t be available for the knockouts as he is expected to be with the England cricket team for the tour of India in late January.
The right-arm speedster is looking to make his comeback in the BBL, but the franchises would remain wary about roping Archer given his injury concerns and workload management.
Archer has played 27 BBL matches so far. The right-arm speedster has taken 34 wickets at an economy of 7.73. With the bat, Archer has scored 61 runs till now.
Apart from Archer, fellow English speedsters Reece Topley, Jamie Overton, Paul Walter, and Brydon Carse have confirmed their availability for the entire tournament, including the finals week.
Jofra Archer returns to the England ODI squad for the Australia series

He is in line to play his first ODI match since March 2023. The star pacer had had a tough time in recent years due to an elbow injury, because of which he missed the ICC ODI World Cup 2023 in India.
