Indian Cricket Team batter KL Rahul didn’t have the kind of end he would’ve wanted to his innings in the ongoing second test against the England Cricket Team. The game between the two teams is taking place at Edgbaston in Birmingham.
KL Rahul, who didn’t have a great outing in the first innings, came up with a brilliant batting effort in the second innings. Opening the innings, he showed great patience and grit, ensuring he got crucial runs for his team and helped them set a big target.
KL Rahul played some brilliant shots in his innings, and with the way he was batting, it seemed that he would score big. The opening batter hit a blistering half-century, but he failed to convert that into a ton as Josh Tongue ended his stay at the crease.
Josh Tongue came up with the brutal delivery to which KL Rahul had no answers. He bowled a pitched-up delivery that was angled into the stumps. The batter’s front foot didn’t get forward enough as he looked to drive.
The ball nipped away, and it went past the edge to send the middle stump for a walk. The extra pace from Tongue made Rahul reluctant to get forward, and he couldn’t even believe how he got out.
