Who was the last batsman to score 10,000 runs in both ODIs and tests?

Only two Indian players have scored 10,000 runs in both ODIs and Tests.
Reaching the 10,000-run mark in international cricket is a big achievement for any batsman. Moreover, scoring 10,000 runs in both ODIs and tests is something even the greatest batters have struggled to achieve during their career. Even Indian batting legend Virat Kohli, who retired from tests on Monday (May 12), could not pile up 10,000 runs in the longest format.
Kohli retired with 9,230 runs in 123 tests. Notably, he could have reached the 10,000 mark in the red-ball format in the following years if he had continued his career in the white-ball format. However, Kohli has achieved this feat in ODIs and accounts for more than 14,000 runs in the 50-over format.
He was also the fastest to reach the 10K mark in ODIs in just 205 innings. Notably, only two Indian players have scored more than 10,000 runs in both ODIs and tests. Former cricketers Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid have achieved this feat in both formats.
Also, while there are six Indian batters with 10,000 runs in ODIs, only three have reached the milestone in tests. Sunil Gavaskar is the third Indian batsman to score 10,000 runs in the red-ball format and also the first batsman to reach the mark in 1971.
Kumar Sangakkara was the last batsman to score 10,000 runs in both ODIs and tests
Former Sri Lanka cricketer Kumar Sangakkara was the last batsman to score 10,000 runs in both ODIs and tests. He achieved this feat in both formats in the same year, 2012. The former left-handed batsman represented Sri Lanka across all three formats from 2000 to 2015. He retired with 22,882 runs in 134 tests and 18,049 runs in ODIs.
The former Sri Lanka wicket keeper reached the mark of 10,000 runs in tests in December 2012. Interestingly, he was also the joint-fastest to reach the mark in 195 innings with Tendulkar and Brian Lara. He piled up 10,000 runs in ODIs in February 2012.
Notably, Sangakkara is also the second-highest run scorer in international cricket after master blaster Sachin Tendulkar. He is also the highest run-scorer for Sri Lanka in international cricket. He mustered 28,016 runs in his international career before his retirement in March 2015.
