List of all winners at the 2024 Australian Cricket Awards

Cricket Australia announced medal winners of the previous cricketing seasons at a ceremony.
Cricket Australia hosted their annual award ceremony in Melbourne on 31st January, 2024 to reward their players for consistent performance in the previous calendar year (2023). The year 2023 brought a lot of glory to Australian cricket. Australian cricket team won the ICC World Test Championship and ICC Cricket World Cup 2023 defeating India in the finals on both occasions. They also retained the Ashes after drawing the series 2-2 against England in England.
All-rounder Mitchell Marsh had a terrific calendar year in 2023 and also played a huge role in Australia’s World Cup 2023 win in India. Cricket Australia awarded the Allan Border Medal for best men’s international cricketer to the Australian all-rounder. Mitchell Marsh received 79 more votes than Australian skipper Pat Cummins. Top-order batter Steve Smith was also nominated for the Allan Border Medal along with Mitchell Marsh and captain Pat Cummins.
The 26-year-old Australian women’s team all-rounder Ashleigh Gardner won the Belinda Clark Award (best women’s cricketer of the year) for her magnificent performance in the previous year. Ashleigh Gardner won her second Belinda Clark Award. She won her first in year 2022. Gardner took 12 wickets in the Ashes test against England. Gardner got 13 more votes than all-rounder Ellyse Perry. Annabel Sutherland ended up third in nomination.
Nathan Lyon, who ended up as the highest wicket-taker of the year and completed the milestone of 500 test wickets, won the Shane Warne men’s test player of the year 2023. Nathan Lyon became the eighth bowler to pick up 500 test wickets. He completed the milestone against Pakistan in December. Adelaide Strikers skipper Mathew Short won the BBL player of the tournament award while Sri Lankan Chamari Athapaththu won the Women’s BBL player of the tournament award.
