Men's Cricket schedule for Asian Games 2023 announced, India's first match on 3rd October
Team India will play their first match on October 3 in the upcoming Asian Games 2023.
The 19th edition of Asian Games is all set to start on September 19. This tournament will have a total of 40 different sports. Asian Games 2023 will end on October 8. Apart from 40 sports, it will also have 61 disciplines. India have been one of the most consistent nations in the history of Asian Games.
For the first time, India will send their cricket team to participate in the coming Asian Games in 2023. The team will be led by Ruturaj Gaikwad and will have all those players that did well in Indian Premier League in 2023. VVS Laxman will be the coach for the team. A number of Indian players will be making their debuts in the coming tournament.

The cricket competition in Asian Games 2023 will take place between September 23 and October 8. It will be played in the T20I format. All these matches will be played at the Zhejiang University of Technology Pingfeng Cricket field. Team India have named a second-string team for the competition.
