The WPL 2024 will kick-off in Bengaluru with MI vs DC clash on 23rd Februaury, Friday.
The second edition of the Women’s Premier League (WPL 2024), kicking off on February 23rd, promises another exciting season of women’s cricket. Five teams – Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Giants, Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore, and UP Warriorz – will battle it out in a round-robin format, followed by playoffs. Bengaluru and New Delhi will host the matches, all starting at 7:30 PM IST after a 7 PM toss.
Prior to the first match of WPL 2024, there will be a big opening ceremony ‘Cricket ka Queendom’, in which famous Bollywood actors like Shah Rukh Khan, Shahid Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Varun Dhawan, Sidharth Malhotra and Kartik Aaryan will lit the ceremony with their performance.
The match No. 1 of WPL 2024 will be played between defending champions Mumbai Indians (MI) and runners-up Delhi Capitals (DC).
