Australian Cricket Team pacer Mitchell Starc continued his bowling mayhem on day 2 of the first Ashes 2025-26 test against England Cricket Team at Optus Stadium, Perth. The left-arm pacer scripted history by becoming the first Australian seamer to grab a 10-wicket haul in The Ashes history after 35 years.

With his spectacular performance, the hosts bundled out England for 172 runs. Later, Steve Smith & Co. were all out for 132 runs, trailing by 40 runs after the conclusion of the first innings.

On day 2, Starc provided Australia with the first breakthrough by dismissing Zak Crawley for his second duck in the match. Later, the senior Australian pacer also claimed the crucial wickets of Joe Root and Ben Stokes to complete his 10-wicket haul in the encounter.
