Texas Super Kings to take on Shahrukh Khan's LA Knight Riders in MLC 2023 opener

Grand Prairie Stadium and Church Street Park to host the entire MLC 2023.

Major League Cricket (MLC) has unveiled the complete schedule for the inaugural season of America's pioneering professional franchise cricket league, marking a significant milestone in the sport. The league is all set to commence on Friday, July 14, 2023. A total of 19 matches will take place at two dedicated cricket venues, namely the Grand Prairie Stadium located at 1600 Lone Star Pkwy, Grand Prairie, TX in North Texas, and Church Street Park situated at 5800 Cricket Pitch Wy, Morrisville, NC in Greater Raleigh.

Six Teams to Battle for Title

With the participation of renowned cricketers from around the globe, the six MLC teams will vie for the coveted title of the inaugural season champions. The exhilarating tournament will culminate on Monday, July 31, when the ultimate victor will be crowned. This groundbreaking cricket league is set to captivate fans and usher in a new era for the sport in America.

The inaugural match of Major League Cricket (MLC) is set for Friday, July 14, at the Grand Prairie Stadium near Dallas, TX. The Texas Super Kings will face the Los Angeles Knight Riders, featuring IPL superstar players.

On Saturday, July 15, there will be a doubleheader with MI New York versus the San Francisco Unicorns in the early morning and the Seattle Orcas against the Washington Freedom in the evening.

The matches continue on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, concluding the initial games in Grand Prairie. The second week of the MLC competition begins on Friday, July 21, at Church Street Park in Morrisville, North Carolina.

The MLC Championship Finals will be held at the Grand Prairie Stadium. The playoffs include the "Eliminator" match on Friday, July 28, determining the team that advances to the "Challenger" match. The top two seeds will compete in the "Qualifier" match on the same day. The "Challenger" match will be held on Saturday, July 29, and the Championship Final is set for Monday, July 31.
