Mohammad Amaan to lead as India announce squad for ACC Men's U19 Asia Cup 2024

India will face Pakistan in their first game of the ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2024.
The ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2024 is set to kick off on November 29 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The tournament will be played across two venues – Sharjah and Dubai.
The tournament will feature eight teams: five teams from full member nations – India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh – and the three top teams from the Men’s Under-19 Premier Cup 2023 – Nepal, Japan and UAE.
The 2024 event will mark the tournament’s 11th edition. First played in 1989 in Bangladesh, the tournament has become a major platform for youngsters in Asia to showcase their talent.
The competition will follow a group stage format, with teams divided into two groups of four each. The top two teams from each group will advance into the semi-finals which are scheduled for December 6. The tournament will conclude on December 8 with the final taking place in Dubai.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced India’s squad for the ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2024, naming Uttar Pradesh’s talented middle-order batsman Mohammad Amaan as the captain.
13-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi from Bihar, who recently set a record as the youngest batter to score a century in youth internationals against Australia U19, has also earned a spot in India’s squad.
