IND vs SA: [Watch] Mohammed Siraj comes up with a jaffa to leave Marco Jansen stunned in Kolkata

Mohammed Siraj dismissed Marco Jansen in the second session on day 1.

The first test between Indian Cricket Team and South Africa Cricket Team commenced on November 14, Friday. After winning the toss, South Africa captain Temba Bavuma opted to bat first in the encounter, which is underway at Eden Gardens in Kolkata.

However, his decision backfired as South Africa batters struggled big time with the bat despite having a solid start with the bat. Indian bowlers Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav and Mohammed Siraj were all over the opposition, picking wickets at a timely intervals.

In the 45th over of South Africa innings, Siraj, who looked rusty in his morning session, made a strong comeback, picking two wickets. He first trapped wicket-keeper batter Kyle Verreynne in LBW and then came up with a peach to remove Marco Jansen, dismissing him for a three-ball duck.

The right-arm pacer delivered a good length delivery to Jansen, who tried to block by bending forward. However, the ball sneaked through the bat-pad gap and hit the top of the middle stump, dislodging the bails. Siraj celebrated his wicket as the Proteas were left stranded at 147/7.

Jasprit Bumrah took a brilliant fifer, while Mohammed Siraj, Kuldeep Yadav bagged two wickets each as India bundled out South Africa for just 159. For the visitors, Aiden Makram (31) was the top run-getter as rest of the batters failed to go past 30-run mark.
