Video: MS Dhoni stuns fans with unique dance move during CSK's training session ahead of IPL 2026

MS Dhoni is pulling up his socks to play for CSK in IPL 2026.

Former Indian captain MS Dhoni is set to play for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the Indian Premier League (IPL 2026). As the tournament is set to begin in the last week of March, all franchises have already started their practice with preparatory camps.

The five-time champions CSK have kicked off their preparation with a camp in Chennai. Several Indian players have arrived in Chennai for the camp, while overseas and foreign players are yet to assemble in the upcoming days.

Dhoni has joined CSK captain Ruturaj Gaikwad and other players in the preparation camp ahead of the upcoming season. The franchise conducted their first training session on Sunday. The Super Kings have also recently shared videos of their training sessions on their social media handles.

In a light-hearted moment, Dhoni was seen dancing during his practice session in the CSK nets. The bowler bowled a wide ball to Dhoni, and instead of letting it go, Dhoni paused and gestured a wide with his dance moves.

The moment created a buzz among the teammates and support staff present there. CSK players like Ayush Mhatre, Mukesh Choudhary, Rahul Chahar, and Sarfaraz Khan were present at the session.

Meanwhile, CSK will be looking to make a strong comeback after their poor performance last season. The Men in Yellow had the worst performance in IPL 2025; they finished last in the points table with just four wins and 10 losses in 14 matches.

After captain Ruturaj Gaikwad was ruled out due to an elbow injury after five matches, Dhoni captained the team for the rest of the tournament. He scored 196 runs in 13 innings at a strike rate of 135.17 and an average of 24.50, including a highest score of unbeaten 30 runs.
