MS Dhoni surprised Bangladesh

But I can understand Bengali very well.” He further explained the funny incident. Dhoni said, “Interestingly, once, we were playing a match in Bangladesh, and they didn’t know I understood Bengali. Their keeper was suggesting something to the bowler, so I already knew what he would bowl."
After the game, Dhoni revealed how Bangladeshi players were surprised that he understood Bengali language. Dhoni added, “So, once the match ended, they (Bangladeshi players) were talking among themselves, and seeing my reaction, they were like, ‘Ae Eta Bengali bujhte pare’ (He understands Bengali).” MS Dhoni made his international debut against Bangladesh in 2003 at Chattogram.
