Former Indian captain MS Dhoni and his wife Sakshi Dhoni are celebrating their 15th wedding anniversary on Friday, July 4, 2025. Sakshi shared a heart-warming post on the social media platform Instagram after the couple completed 15 years of marriage.
The couple were married on July 4, 2010, in Dehradun. They have a daughter named Ziva. The former India skipper retired from international cricket in August 2020, however, he is still playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) for Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
Notably, Sakshi has been quite active in supporting Dhoni during IPL games. She is often seen cheering for CSK in the stands during IPL matches with daughter Ziva.

As the couple celebrated their 15th wedding anniversary, Sakshi shared a lovely post on Instagram. She shared a photo of herself with Dhoni walking on the streets holding each other’s hands. “We made a promise ! Onto 16th,” she captained the photo.

Meanwhile, Dhoni led CSK in the IPL 2025. He was handed the leadership of the side after skipper Ruturaj Gaikwad was ruled out of the tournament due to an elbow injury. CSK failed to reach the playoffs of the tournament. They were also the worst performers in the season, finishing at the last spot with just four wins across 14 games.
Notably, there were rumours about Dhoni’s retirement from IPL during the tournament. However, the CSK legend clarified that he has not made any retirement plans so far. Dhoni played as an uncapped player in IPL 2025 for CSK. Ahead of IPL 2025 mega auction, he was retained by the franchise for INR 4 crore.
