Duleep Trophy 2024: Musheer Khan goes past Sachin Tendulkar's record with 181 for India B

Musheer Khan smashed 181 runs for India B on his Duleep Trophy debut.
It was a memorable day for youngster Musheer Khan as he smashed 181 on his Duleep Trophy debut while playing for India B against India A at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.
The 19-year-old Musheer played an outstanding knock of 181 runs off 373 deliveries, including 16 boundaries and five maximums, which bailed India B out of danger.
Earlier, after being asked to bat first, India B were struggling at 94/7 after the end of 44 overs. However, Musheer stitched a stunning 205-run partnership with Navdeep Saini (56), which helped India B reach 321 runs.
Musheer went past Sachin Tendulkar’s record to score most runs in Duleep Trophy debut
After scoring 181 against India A, Musheer went on to put his name among some of the elite batters across generations in Indian cricket. The youngster went past legendary cricketer Tendulkar’s 159-run tally to become the third highest run-scorer among teenagers on Duleep Trophy debut.
Ahead of him is Delhi cricketer Yash Dhull, who notched up 193 runs on his Duleep Trophy debut. Baba Aparajith (212) is the only teenager to score a double century on Duleep Trophy debut.
