Pakistan Cricket Team pacer Naseem Shah’s residence was attacked by five assailants on Monday, November 10. Despite the attack, the right-arm pacer has decided to remain with the Pakistan squad for the upcoming ODI series against Sri Lanka Cricket Team.

According to reports by Pakistan-based Dawn news, unknown assailants opened fire at Naseem’s home in Lower Dir in the wee hours of Monday. The attackers shot at the main gate of his house, leaving bullet marks and fled the spot after firing.

The reports also revealed that no one from Naseem’s family was injured in the incident. Naseem’s father filed a complaint with the local police, who assured him that the assailants would be captured soon and brought to justice. Police have launched an investigation into the matter.
