Naveen Ul Haq is on the receiving end from Virat Kohli's fans after the altercation in yesterday's game

Naveen-ul-Haq has been on the receiving end of online abuse from Virat Kohli fans after the on-field scuffle between the two players on Monday. The incident unfolded during the match between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) as both the players had a go at each other.

It all started in the 17th over of the low-scoring run-chase as Amit Mishra and Naveen-ul-Haq got into an argument with Virat Kohli. To further aggravate the saga, Naveen and Virat faced each other after the match ended in the ritual ceremony of hand-shaking. Both players exchanged some words which got the tension glared up and soon Glenn Maxwell intervened to separate them both.

In the post-match scenes, KL Rahul was seen having a word with Virat Kohli when he called upon Naveen to talk the matter out to which Naveen refused to have a word. The indignant Kohli fans then took to Naveen's social media account to vehemently castigated the Afghanistan player.

Reportedly, Naveen had to switch off the comment section of his post to find peace from the abuse. However, a few fans entered the comment sections of other posts to harass the cricketer.

The feud that started on the field in the game between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bangalore last night has taken shape in the digital world of social media.

Naveen on Tuesday took a dig at Kohli via an Instagram Story in which he wrote, "You get what you deserve, that's how it should be and that's how it goes."

Kohli has also come up with a cryptic Instagram story following his fierce altercation with Naveen and LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir. "Everything we hear is an opinion, not a fact. Everything we see is a perspective, not a truth. "Also, in a video posted by RCB, Kohli said "If you gonna give it, you gonna take it. Otherwise don't give it."
