Nepal's Dipendra Singh-Airee smashes 9-ball fifty in Asian Games, breaks Yuvraj Singh's record for fastest T20I fifty

Nepal cricketer Dipendra Singh-Airee broke Yuvraj Singh's record for fastest T20I fifty.
On Wednesday, September 27th, Dipendra Singh Airee, a versatile batsman and all-rounder for Nepal, achieved a historic milestone. He broke the long-standing record held by former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh for the fastest fifty in T20 cricket history.
Airee reached his half-century in just nine balls during Asian Games match between Nepal and Mongolia, which was held at the Pingfeng Campus Cricket Field in Hangzhou. Prior to this, Yuvraj Singh had previously achieved a fifty in only 12 balls during India's T20 World Cup 2007 match against England in Durban on September 19, 2007.
Airee, a 23-year-old right-handed batsman, batted at No. 5 for Nepal and showcased remarkable power-hitting, smashing eight sixes. He remained unbeaten with a total of 52 runs from just 10 balls. His exceptional performance not only contributed to Nepal's remarkable total of 314 runs for the loss of only three wickets but also set a new record for the highest team total in a T20 match.
