Often we see him posting his video of training in the gym. Right now he is getting ready for the upcoming 2 match Test series against West Indies. Virat Kohli received special encouragement from 23 Grand Slam winner Novak Djokovic. Team India are currently in West Indies for a month-long tour to play 2 match Tests, 3 match ODIs, and a 5 T20Is in a full-fledged series. The first test between India and West Indies will begin on 12th July at Windsor Park in Dominica.

India’s premier batter, Virat Kohli posted a few images of his training on Instagram with the caption, “Every day should be a leg day. 8 years and counting”. Virat Kohli’s post got more than 5.1 Million likes so far and one special like has also encouraged him. 23-time Grand Slam winner Novak Djokovic also liked Virat Kohli’s post on training for the upcoming series.

Earlier Rajasthan Royals also posted a video on social media where Virat Kohli was seen giving tips to young Indian opening batter Yashasvi Jaiswal. Jaiswal is set to make his Test debut for India at Windsor Park in Dominica.

Away from the training, Virat Kohli’s recent game in red-ball cricket has not been great. Virat has averaged below 30 in test cricket since January 2020. Virat Kohli has scored just one century in the last 42 months in test cricket. He had a great start against Australia in the World Test Championship Final at the Oval in the second inning but failed to convert that start into a big score. Virat Kohli will look to start fresh against West Indies bowlers and score big runs in the two tests.
