Pakistan to boycott the IND vs PAK game in Colombo

The Government of Pakistan officially stated that the team will participate in the 2026 T20 World Cup. But at the same time, they ordered the team to skip the big game against India.

This order lets the squad play all their other group matches in Sri Lanka. However, it stops them from stepping onto the field on February 15th in Colombo.

By choosing this middle ground, the country wants to make a formal statement. They are protesting what they see as unfair scheduling and security rules. This move puts the team in a tough spot. They are basically giving away two huge points to their rivals before the tournament is even halfway through.
