Pakistan will kick off their ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27 campaign with the test series against South Africa.

Pakistan confirmed the schedule for all-format home series against South Africa on Saturday, 6th September. During the campaign, Pakistan will host the Rainbow Nation for two tests, three ODIs and as many T20Is. The series, which will begin on October 12, with the first test in Lahore, will be the Men in Green’s first series in the ongoing ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27 cycle.

The action will then move to Rawalpindi, where the second test will be played from October 20 to 24. Pakistan, who finished at the last spot in the ICC WTC 2023-25 points table, would look to kick off their campaign in the ongoing cycle with some wins under their belt.

Following the two-match test series, both the sides will engage in a three-match T20I series before action turns to ODI cricket for three games. The T20I series will begin on October 28 and conclude on November 1, while the ODI series will be played from November 4 to 8.

While Rawalpindi (1st T20I) and Lahore (2nd and 3rd T20Is) will host the T20I leg of the series, the entire ODI series will be played in Faisalabad, which will see return of ODI cricket after a long gap of 17 years.
