19-year-old spinner Daniyal Ali Khan played a key role with the ball for Pakistan U19 in the huge win over Malaysia on Friday. Daniyal, bowled four overs and picked two wickets for six runs to help his side bowl out Malaysia for 48 runs. The 19-year-old will be hoping to test his skills against Indian batters who have done well in their first game.

Left-arm medium pacer Mohammad Sayyam was at his best with the ball against Malaysia, taking three wickets for 27 runs from his six overs. Young batter Ahmed Hussain came good with the bat in the game against Malaysia on Friday. Pakistan’s best U19 batter, Sameer Minhas, scored 177 not out against Malasiya. The young batter scored these runs off mere 148 balls with the help of eleven boundaries and eight sixes. Minhas, also went past Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s score of 171 that was scored earlier in the day against United Arab Emirates. Pakistan, will be hoping that Minhas can come good with the bat against a well-disciplined Indian side and in the entire tournament, helping team win.
