Pakistan began their U19 Asia Cup 2025 campaign with a massive win over Malaysia on Friday in Dubai, making a strong statement right at the start. Farhan Yousaf and his side beat Malaysia by a massive margin of 297 runs to begin their tournament on a high.

5- Daniyal Ali Khan

19-year-old spinner Daniyal Ali Khan played a key role with the ball for Pakistan U19 in the huge win over Malaysia on Friday. Daniyal, bowled four overs and picked two wickets for six runs to help his side bowl out Malaysia for 48 runs. The 19-year-old will be hoping to test his skills against Indian batters who have done well in their first game.

4- Mohammad Sayyam

Left-arm medium pacer Mohammad Sayyam was at his best with the ball against Malaysia, taking three wickets for 27 runs from his six overs. The youngster bowled with decent pace and also swung the ball to put the batters under pressure. Sayyam troubled the batters with the new ball in the powerplay overs. The 17-year-old will be keen to stamp his authority over Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Ayush Mhatre early in the game against India and then carry the same form in the tournament.

3- Ali Raza

One of the most promising players to emerge from Pakistan in recent times is right-arm pace Ali Raza. The 17-year-old has already played nine games in Pakistan Super League (PSL) for Peshawar Zalmi side, picking 12 wickets. On Friday, Ali Raza was at his best once more taking three wickets for 11 runs from his six overs, which also included three maiden overs. Raza, bowls with decent pace and has the ability to put the batters under pressure with the bounce he extracts off the pitch. 2- Ahmed Hussain

Young batter Ahmed Hussain came good with the bat in the game against Malaysia on Friday. The left-handed batter came to the crease with the score reading 30 for two and added 293 runs for the third wicket with Sameer Minhas to bring his team back in the game. Hussain, scored 132 off just 114 balls with the help of eight boundaries and two sixes. The young batter also soaked up the early pressure, before batting with intent to score a well-crafted ton.

Pakistan’s best U19 batter, Sameer Minhas, scored 177 not out against Malasiya. The young batter scored these runs off mere 148 balls with the help of eleven boundaries and eight sixes. Minhas, also went past Vaibhav Suryavanshi’s score of 171 that was scored earlier in the day against United Arab Emirates. Pakistan, will be hoping that Minhas can come good with the bat against a well-disciplined Indian side and in the entire tournament, helping team win.
