Australia captain Pat Cummins has revealed the bowling attack for the ICC WTC final game against India.

Australian cricket team have confirmed their bowling attack for the World Test Championship final (ICC WTC final) against India, revealed captain Pat Cummins in the press conference on Tuesday.

Scott Boland is all set to play his first Test in England. Australia captain Pat Cummins spoke during the press conference, confirming that the Victorian pacer will play ahead of Michael Neser.

The Australian bowling attack was already a fixed one with Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, and Nathan Lyon leading the attack from the front. They had to pick one between Michael Neser and Scott Boland to complete the final puzzle in the bowling department. Now, Cummins had cleared all the doubts that the pacer would be playing at The Oval this week.

Neser was added to the official 15-player squad as the replacement for Josh Hazlewood, who was ruled out due to an injury.

Cummins also briefly explained how all his bowlers have something different to offer.

"Scott is a seam bowler on a good length, but he just offers something slightly different to Joshy Hazlewood, and Starcy being a left-hander is a bit different," Cummins told the reporters on Tuesday.

Scott Boland looks good whenever he bowls: Pat Cummins

Cummins also explained how Boland would work for the team and how he looks good whenever he bowls. Notably, the Victorian pacer has the lowest bowling average amongst Men's test cricketers who had bowled at least 1000 deliveries in this century.

"Someone like Scotty, it's just a really simple game plan – you hit your good areas, and you stay there all day, and hopefully, the ball will do the work for you. He's had a few bowls over here now and has looked good. But he looks good whenever he bowls," he added.

Cummins also said that the management would go easy on Cameron Green, and he might not bowl a lot during this Test in order to manage his workload.

The Australian all-rounder has joined the team after featuring in the Indian Premier League for Mumbai Indians.

"Greeny is available, and he is fit, but it is probably not in our interest to burn him and put 40 overs into him in a game, which is a conversation we have pretty much before every Test match, and he has never really red-lined so far," Cummins said.

Notably, Sean Abbott has joined the team as a reserve player. Abbott is currently in England and has featured in three first-class games for Surrey this year. He has experience playing at The Oval recently.

Sharing his experience, the pacer has warned the Australian team to expect a fast and bouncy wicket.

The Australian team will take on India in the final of the World Test Championship Final 2023 at The Oval from June 7.
