PCB has lodged a complaint against Arshdeep Singh for his obscene gestures towards crowd during India vs Pakistan Super Four clash.

Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has filed an official complaint against Indian pacer Arshdeep Singh with the International Cricket Council (ICC) for his ‘obscene gestures’ towards crowd during the India vs Pakistan clash in Super Four round of Asia Cup 2025 on Sunday, September 21. As per the reports in Geo News, PCB has demanded strict action against India pacer for his actions.

In their statement, PCB stated that Arshdeep’s actions have brought cricket into disrepute and he has violated ICC Code of Conduct with his immoral gestures towards the spectators. PCB also urged ICC to impose strict action in line with disciplinary procedures for players who violate ICC Code of Conduct.

Notably, a video of Arshdeep went viral on social media, where he was seen making some gestures towards the crowd after India’s victory over Pakistan in the Super Four round. His gestures came in response to Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf’s gesture of “6-0 and airplane crash” at Indian fans. When the Pakistan fans mocked Arshdeep with the same gestures, he came up with a strong reply.

Earlier, PCB also lodged a complaint with ICC against Indian skipper Suryakumar Yadav over his remarks to dedicate the victory against Pakistan in group stage to the Pahalgam attack victims and the Indian Armed Forces.

PCB alleged that he made it a political issue. As a result, Suryakumar was found guilty of breaching the ICC Code of Conduct. The Indian skipper pleaded not guilty, but ICC referee Richie Richardson rejected it, and he was fined 30 percent of his match fee.

Meanwhile, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) also filed complaints against Pakistan players in Haris Rauf and Sahibzada Farhan for their gestures during India vs Pakistan Super Four clash.

Rauf was found guilty of using abusive language and making provocative gestures towards the crowd during the match. He was fined 30 per cent of his match fee. Farhan celebrated his half-century in the match with a gun-shot gesture. He received a warning for his controversial celebration.
