Thanks to his heroics, he also received his maiden ODI call-up for the Afghanistan series.

2. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi has rocked the field with his aggressive batting approach, which helped Rajasthan Royals get brilliant starts in many games. The left-handed batsman is also among the top five highest run-scorers.

In 13 matches, he has scored 579 runs at an average of 44 and a strike rate of over 230. He has hammered a century and three fifties in the tournament. He single-handedly helped RR to win a few games with his batting.

Punjab Kings opener Priyansh Arya has impressed with his form once again, scoring 364 runs in 12 games at a strike rate of over 200. He was one of the key reasons why PBKS dominated the tournament at the start with their winning streak.

With three half-centuries, he helped Punjab to get quick starts in many games. He is another contender who can win the Emerging Player of the Season award this season.
