Two high-scoring chases were recorded on Thursday in the PSL 2026.
It was a double-header day in the PSL 2026 on Thursday, and fans saw two great chases. The first game of the day was played between Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United. Batting first, Quetta Gladiators had a great start with a 50-run stand in five overs.
Captain Saud Shakeel scored 42 off 26, and Hasan Nawaz (66* off 36) scored a consecutive half-century. They finished at 183/5, with an unbeaten 90-run stand for the sixth wicket. Chasing the score, the United lost Devon Conway (18 off 19) and Andries Gous (2 off 4) early.
But an unbeaten stand of 128 runs between Sameer Minhas (82* off 48) and Shadab Khan (69* off 39) sealed the deal for the United. They recorded their first win of the season. In the second game, Rawalpindiz took on Karachi Kings.
Batting first, Pindiz scored a high score of 197/6. Daryl Mitchell (65 off 41) and Sam Billings (58 off 35) scored half-centuries for them. Hasan Ali once again bowled well and took three wickets.
In reply, the Kings started well. Captain David Warner (50 off 36) and Azam Khan (74 off 34) scored half-centuries and took the Kings over the line. They reached 199/5 in 19.2 overs and won their third consecutive game in the PSL 2026.

Karachi Kings were placed second earlier; however, with a win over Rawalpindiz, they moved to the top of the points table with three straight wins. Multan Sultans are second with four points. Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United are next on the list with three points each.
Lahore Qalandars and Quetta Gladiators have two points each and are next on the list. Both new franchises have yet to open their account and are in the bottom two.

Hasan Nawaz scored his consecutive fifty and has moved to the top of the list with 138 runs. His teammate Shamyl Hussain is second with 127 runs in three games.
Sameer Minhas scored a match-winning fifty against the Gladiators, and he is third on the list. Sahibzada Farhan and Azam Khan are next on the list.
