DC-W recorded their third win of the WPL 2026, beating RCB-W by seven wickets.
The unbeaten streak for Smriti Mandhana and her team has finally ended as they suffered their first defeat of the WPL 2026 on Saturday against the three-time finalists, Delhi Capitals. Match no. 15 took place at BCA Stadium, where DC-W won the toss and put RCB-W to bat first.
RCB-W didn’t have a great start and lost Grace Harris (9 off 13) early on. The wicket was slow, and the ball was not coming properly. Captain Mandhana tried hard and scored 38 off 34, but apart from her, only Radha Yadav (18 off 17) and Georgia Voll (11 off 14) scored in double digits.
As a result, RCB-W were bowled out for 109 runs in 20 overs. Nandani Sharma (3/26) took three wickets, and Minnu Mani, Chinelle Henry and Marizanne Kapp took two wickets each. It wasn’t a big target, and DC-W recorded an easy chase.
They also had a rusty start, losing two wickets for 24 runs within four overs. But Laura Wolvaardt came to the rescue. She scored an unbeaten 42 off 38 and took DC-W over the line.
Captain Jemimah Rodrigues (24 off 26) and Marizanne Kapp (19* off 15) also played good hands. DC-W scored 111/3 in 15.4 overs and recorded a seven-wicket win. With this win, they earned two important points and inched closer to a place in the playoffs.

RCB-W are the first team to qualify for the playoffs. They lost on Saturday, but they are still at the top of the points table. But two points here have helped DC-W to move to the second spot with six points.
GG-W also have six points, but DC-W have a better NRR. Hence, GG-W are third on the table. MI-W have four points in six games, and they are fourth on the table, followed by UPW-W at the bottom with four points.

Phoebe Litchfield (UPW-W) is still at the top of the chart with the most runs in the WPL 2026. She has 243 runs in six innings. Harmanpreet Kaur has also retained her position in the second spot with 240 runs.
Smriti Mandhana has jumped to third spot. She now has 230 runs in six innings. Lizelle Lee had a disappointing game, and she is at the fourth spot with 219 runs, followed by Nat Sciver-Brunt with 219 runs.

Nadine de Klerk and Amelie Kerr are third and fourth on the list. Both have 10 wickets each so far. In fifth place, Lauren Bell has nine wickets in total.
