Galle Gallants beat Jaffna Kings by 60 runs in match 10 of the LPL 2026.
The Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2026 produced another exciting doubleheader on Thursday, with two good matches played in Dambulla. The first game of the day was played between Colombo Kaps and Kandy Royals, which proved to be a one-sided match.
Colombo Kaps recorded a 23-run win. Janith Liyanage (52* off 33) and Rubin Hermann (53 off 36) scored half-centuries. Kandy Royals needed 193 runs to win. But they only managed 169 runs as Mujeeb-ur-Rahman took 3/34 with the ball.
This was the second win for the Kaps in the LPL 2026. In the second game, Galle Gallants took on the defending champion Jaffna Kings. It was also a one-sided game, where the Gallants recorded a 60-run win.
Sahan Arachchige scored 63 off 36 balls, and Chris Lynn slammed 46 off 22. With the ball, Tharindu Ratnayake and Eshan Malinga took three wickets each, and Jaffna Kings were bowled out for 133 runs.
LPL 2026 Points Table after match 10, GM vs JK
Galle Gallants recorded their third win of the season, and with six points, they are at the top of the points table. Colombo Kaps also recorded a win on Thursday and moved to the second spot.
They have four points on the board. Dambulla Sixers and Jaffna Kings are next on the list with four points each. Kandy Falcons are at the bottom with only two points.

Reeza Hendricks has been superb this season. He is the leading scorer of the LPL 2026 after match 10 with 196 runs. Lahiru Udara is second on the list with 152 runs in four innings.
Two star batters of Galle Gallants, Sam Harper and Sahan Arachchige, are next on the list with 148 and 142 runs, respectively. Dunith Wellalage is fifth on the run-scoring chart.
