In the second game, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) suffered their third consecutive defeat in IPL 2026. After being asked to bat first, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) piled up a mountainous total of 250/3 with brilliant teamwork by Devdutt Padikkal (50), Rajat Patidar (48), and Tim David (70).
Losing their first three batters for single digits, CSK suffered a big blow at the start of the chase. Sarfaraz Khan (50), Prashant Veer (43), and Jamie Overton (37) tried their best efforts, but CSK were bowled out for 207 runs and lost by 43 runs.
