The RR vs RCB clash of IPL 2026 took place at Barsapara Cricket Stadium.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) clashed in the 16th match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 on Friday, April 10. RR outplayed RCB by six wickets to claim their fourth consecutive win in the tournament.
RR captain Riyan Parag won the toss and opted to field first in the clash, which witnessed a delay at the start due to rain. RCB suffered a batting collapse at the start and lost six wickets before 100 runs on the board. However, Rajat Patidar (63) and Venkatesh Iyer (29*), who came in as impact player, helped the team to reach a good total of 201/8.
In the chase, RR lost opener Yashasvi Jaiswal cheaply for 13 runs. However, his partner Vaibhav Sooryavanshi slammed a spectacular 26-ball 78, giving a head start to RR in the chase. Dhruv Jurel (81*) scored a half-century to take his team home in 18 overs, handing RCB their first defeat of IPL 2026.
