MI started well till the power play, but could not keep their momentum. Ryan Rickelton, Suryakumar Yadav, and Hardik Pandya started well but failed to go deep. Sherfane Rutherford scored a half-century towards the end.
Eventually, MI finished with 222/5, losing the clash by 18 runs. Notably, it was Mumbai’s third consecutive defeat in IPL 2026.
